Regional & Model Exceptions
Models purchased in mainland China do not support eSIM. However, unlike previous models, Hong Kong and Macao iPhone 14 models do support eSIM.
How to find your EID number
Open Settings > General > About and scroll down to the EID number.
How to install eSIM on iPhone 14
Install via Settings > Cellular > Add eSIM. You can also transfer a physical SIM from a previous iPhone to an eSIM digitally during setup.
Carrier Lock Warning
Even if your iPhone 14 supports eSIM hardware, your device must be carrier-unlocked to use travel eSIMs.
